Typewriter

I know I haven't posted in a while. I'm sorry about that. But I'm posting now :)

So I recently bought a typewriter on eBay, and it arrived in the mail on Friday. Today, mom bought the ribbon so now I can finally type. It's a Royal Commander from the 1930's-1940's, and it works perfectly fine :D It might just need a bit of oiling/cleaning up, but other than that I have no problems with it. I think I will not be using word for a long time now...
Also, since I have the typewriter, I decided I can finish writing and then edit my novel with it, since I won't have the internet as a distraction anymore, and I can concentrate on typing.
Well, I'll concentrate on typing when I finally cease to be amused by the sound of the typewriter. It's something like: tk tk tk tk tk tk tk tk tk tk tk tk DING! rrrrrrrrt tk tk tk tk tk tk tk DING!...
and I like it, but it's too amusing for my mind to handle XD Because this is the first time I've ever used a typewriter. Also, somehow, my dad managed to get another typewriter, which means that now we have mine and a Remington (not sure on the model at the moment). However, that one has to be cleaned, oiled, and repaired, cause it's a bit rusty, but overall looks good. And it's so beautiful :D They both are.
